The Wingnuts defeated the Pensacola Pelicans last night by a final score of 5-2 to take two of three. The Wingnuts won three of four from the Cats in Wichita earlier this year.

Wichita: LHP Richard Salazar (2-2, 3.10) - Salazar last worked on 6/27 at Sioux City. He earned the win allowing two earned runs in 5.1 IP, while striking out a season high six. Salazar is 1-2 with a 4.22 ERA in six appearances away from home. This will be his third start of the year.
Fort Worth: RHP Lee Gwaltney (5-0, 1.94) - Gwaltney, who was picked released by the Padres organization earlier this spring, last worked on 6/27 at El Paso. He allowed three earned runs in 7.0 IP and earned the win. He has won five consecutive starts and is 1-0 with a 1.29 ERA in three starts at home.
